in the tradition of conrete art, dilworth started off with systematic painting, using squares and triangles in different colours. gradually, he turned to think more linear, letting his lines develop into space. then the sculptor in him is aroused. step by step, manipulating with elements and modules, he arrives at abstract constructions that, as a paradox, associate to nature. in the nature of things is his credo. the materials he uses, range from subtle paper cuttings, wooden wall pieces stained black, to large steel sculptures reaching to the sky. dilworth lives in lille, france.
